Greek goddess Artemis and Roman goddess Diana are goddesses of the hunt and Moon. These two gods have many similarities in between them. Diana is considered equal to Artemis and vice versa.

When depicting as the goddess of hunting, both Diana and Artemis were seen in short dress holding bow and a quiver on shoulder. They are also shown with a hunting dog or a deer. When portrayed as the Moon Goddess, both the goddesses are portrayed in a veil covering the face.
