Naproxen is a Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug and is categorized as propionic acid derivatives. Naproxen when taken orally, it is absorbed fully. Presence of food in the stomach affects the rate of absorption of the Naproxen, but it does not affect the extent of absorption of Naproxen.
